Casey State Bank Announces Participation in “Big Things in a Small Town”

Casey State Bank will be adding to the collection of the “Big Things in a Small Town” by sponsoring the Largest Wooden Token. Jim Bolin of Bolin Enterprise, Inc. and his crew are building the 13’ diameter Wooden Token at their Casey, Illinois facility. The token will feature Casey State Bank’s logo on one side, with the other side showcasing our Farming and Oil industry plus a picture of the bank in the center, along with pictures of the other Big Things in Casey around the outer edge. The Wooden Token will be vying for the World’s Largest record, Guinness World Book of Records, later this year. Currently, there is not a record set for a wooden token. More information about the measuring ceremony will be shared in a future release.

The Token will be displayed on the front lawn of the Casey State Bank, north branch, which is directly off I-70 on Hwy 49. “We believe that our adding of the Wooden Token, along with the other large items Jim is building, will help make Casey a destination for visitors”, stated Brad Wolfe, President. “We think tourism is an important element that can potentially bring new business development to our area”.

The plan is to have the Wooden Token displayed sometime in September of this year.
